Love. Power. Transformation.
Our vision is “Equipping people and transforming communities with the love and power of Jesus Christ” or, to put it more simply, “Equipping people and transforming communities”.
This statement is influenced by two key passages of scripture:
Ephesians 4:11-12 (NLT) He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NLT) Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
The words in Ephesians 4 are all about equipping and releasing Christians to “go” and complete the Great Commission of Matthew 28 by making disciples of Jesus Christ.
Our passion is to introduce people to Jesus Christ so they can be transformed by His love and power. We desire everyone would experience a loving, life-changing relationship with Jesus and realise that all we do needs to flow out of His love and grace and performed in His supernatural power.
Ephesians 3:19 (NLT) ..may you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
Our purpose is to equip people for life and ministry through discipleship and training. We are passionate about being a church where people discover their uniqueness, realise their dreams and fulfill their God-given potential. Our desire is to mobilise new generations of effective Christian leaders.
Ephesians 4:11-12 (NLT) He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church.
Our plan is to be a significant church in our city, influencing our workplaces, schools, communities and social groups. We believe the church must engage with the community in which it exists and are committed to impacting our world through service and outreach.
We are committed to building what we call ‘apostolic houses’. An apostolic house is a “going” and “sending”, “equipping” and “releasing”, “reaching” and “connecting” church. We have a heart to bless and encourage other churches and Christian leaders, to be a resource, to reach the nations and raise up a network of like-minded churches that are committed to effective church planting and kingdom expansion.
Acts 1:8 (NLT) But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere – in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
